Welcome to the first of the Alexandra Yogini Challenges!
I’ve always really loved the idea Instagram challenges, but felt really awkward about jumping into a large challenge against others. I have created the Alexandra Yogini Challenges as a place to show growth over a period of time. It takes inspiration from the Ashtangi Yogi’s, accepting wisdom, repetition and discipline as is gospel. It’s humbling, especially as a yoga teacher, to see so many others achieve struggle poses with ease. This is an example for teachers and students alike to get together and see progress in their practice to add more variety into modern yoga sequences - ones that might take a little longer to grasp than your weekly yoga class!

How long? I honestly have no idea. But each week I plan to take a focus from the week, and apply it to some/one/all poses in the sequence. Instagram is a main focus for this. The name of the challenge is TBD.
